California was the first state to legalize medical marijuana back in 1996 and since then it has been legalized and regulated at the state level and federally. In 2010, it became legal at the federal level. Over the past few years, both medicinal marijuana and recreational marijuana have grown tremendously and now there are over 60 million Americans who live in states where medical marijuana has been legalized.

In 2000, Colorado became the first state to legalize recreational pot use for adults 21+ and it has done incredibly well. Today, there are over 600 dispensaries that provide safe access to recreational marijuana for adult users. In 2014, it became the 10th state to legalize recreational marijuana at the federal level.

Oregon passed its recreational act in 2013 and it became the second state to do so after Washington DC. It has done extremely well and today there are more than 200 retail stores throughout the state. Recreational marijuana is completely legal at the federal level and the government expects things to continue going strong.

Alaska became the third state to legalize recreational marijuana in 2014 and it has become incredibly popular. Today, there are hundreds of stores selling recreational pot throughout the state. At the time of writing, there were only cities where recreational marijuana could not be sold, but they included Seward and Juneau.

Arizona has had medical marijuana for a long time and it was the first state to allow the medical use of marijuana in 2010. In 2010, it also became the 12th state to legalize recreational pot. Since then, it has continued to grow and today there are over 500 dispensaries throughout the state. At present, recreational marijuana remains illegal at the federal level, but Arizona’s governor signed the bill to change that.

Nevada became the fourth state to legalize medical marijuana in 2009, giving patients their right to make informed decisions about their healthcare and their bodies. It was also the first state to legalize medicinal pot at the federal level in 2016. Today, there are nearly 300 dispensaries selling recreational marijuana throughout the state.

Maine became the fifth state to legalize medical marijuana when they approved a law in 2012. It was also the 13th state to approve recreational pot, making it the first state to legalize both recreational and medicinal marijuana. Today, there are close to 100 dispensaries across the state. Marijuana remains illegal at the federal levels, so if you go outside your state, you won’t be able to buy it legally.

In the year 2074, the world was overpopulated and everyone had become addicted to drugs. In order to get high, people had to buy what they called ‘love’ from the drug company. But after the government realized how addicted their citizens were becoming to the Love, the president ordered all stores selling Love to shut down. Along their way, they would meet many interesting characters including thieves, murderers, gangsters, and so on. There were good people along the way as well. And they would eventually reach the factory where Love was first created. At the end of the movie, they would learn the truth behind the Love and the end result of their journey.
